Music is an integral part of worship at our church. We have several ministries available for those willing to share their musical gifts.
Our Worship Team leads worship throughout each service. Our musicians come from a variety of backgrounds; whether classically trained or self-taught, experienced or new, all of our musicians seek to worship the Lord through music. As with our single service, our Worship Team styling is a unique blend of traditional and contemporary, leaning toward the acoustic/folk and like rock genres. Our standard worship team includes drums/percussion, bass, keyboard/piano, guitar and vocals. We also incorporate auxiliary instruments such as flute, trumpet, violin and other melody instructions. We are always looking for new musicians. Whether you’ve played an instrument for decades or just a few years, there are many opportunities you can participate musically in worship. We also offer a “shadow” opportunity for younger and/or less experienced musicians.
Rehearsal: Sundays, 8:30 am
Performance: Sunday serivce, 9:45 am
Ideal for musicians - experienced or learning, with the ability to practice on Saturday mornings and perform at Sunday service 1-2 times per month.
If interested in participating, send an Email to our Worship Director, Joel Jupp.
Are you interested in singing for the first time? Want to sing a solo? Would you like to try a new instrument? Especially geared for new and upcoming musicians and prospective soloists, the Worship Lab will be starting again in the fall. If you're interested in joining us, talk with Joel. We try to plan songs for who is coming, so be sure to let us know (and await confirmation) so we're ready for you.
